Year 9 Geography Visit to Ashbourne/ Dovedale

On Tuesday 22 November 98 students went on the Year 9 Geography visit to Ashbourne and Dovedale in Derbyshire to enhance the work we have just started on National Parks. Here are the thoughts of some of the students who attended:

‘We split into two groups and our group went to Dovedale first. We walked along a path to the stepping stones and used iPads to compare the stepping stones in the Summer and the Winter using picture’s.
After lunch, we went for a tour around Ashbourne, we went in the bakery and bought cakes whilst doing a tally of the different buildings in the village. Overall it was an educational experience learning about Dovedale and Ashbourne.’
