Visit from Local MP
On Friday 4 November Sir Jonathan North students welcomed Mr Jon Ashworth, MP for Leicester South, into school. The Student Council Executive and two students in Year 11, Florence Slattery and Ella Joyce, made presentations to Mr Ashworth.
The Executive focused on the Student Council’s previous achievements and Florence and Ella talked about the amazing opportunities our school has to offer and about their experience in last year’s award winning Young Enterprise company.
Year 9 students Mia Loyal and Francesca Nicol led Mr Ashworth on a tour of the school.
The visit was very successful and we felt like we had showcased the best of Sir Jonathan North.
